The multi-million dollar shoe empire that is Jimmy Choo may be about to change hands, in a potential £500m sale. Tamara Mellon, who has a 17-18 per cent stake in the company, is said to be reaching the final stages of negotiations, and set to pocket an estimated £100m.

The Jimmy Choo story has become the ultimate daydream of many of those just starting out in the industry: the talented small-scale producer being ‘discovered’ and becoming a household name almost overnight. Now it seems that Mellon will be reaping the rewards of her discovery of Choo, who himself left the company in 2001.

Mellon has so far declined to comment on the rumours, and the possible buyer remains a mystery for now.

Modellen är fin, men i jämförelse med originalet så ser den inte bra ut. Originalet vinner, som så många andra gånger. Ganska kul att se kollektionen ”live”. Man ser allt på ett annat sätt när man ser hur plaggen rör sig. Jag blev grymt sugen på kombon hon hade på sig, den blå klänningen med nitbältet till, ursnyggt! / Tamara Mellon, the founder of Jimmy Choo, talks about the collection they will release with H&M. She shows how to wear it, ”all of it goes together”, and she shows her favourites. I really liked to see the collection ”live”. You see everything diffrently when you see how the clothes move. I also loved the combo she was wearing, the blue dress with the studded belt, gorgeous!

Nu har H&M släppt produktbilder på hela kollektionen från Jimmy Choo for H&M. Några hade jag inte sett tidigare och det var kul att spana in herrkollektionen också. Jag försöker just nu planera och sålla bland det jag vill ha, priserna är rätt höga och jag har inte råd med allt. Jag kommer att sikta in mig på skor och accessoarer då kläderna inte tilltalar mig på samma sätt. De är otroligt fina, men inget för mig tror jag. Det på bilden är mina favoriter, men innan kollektionen släpps så har jag säkert hunnit ångra mig flera gånger! Kollektionen släpps online  och i butik kl 10.00 den 14 November. / H&M has released the whole collection on their website now. Some of the pictures were new to me and it was fun to check out the mens collection as well. Right now I´m trying to decide what I will get when the collection is available, I can´t afford everything. I´m looking at accessories and shoes, and these are my favourites so far. But I might change my mind in a week or so! The collection will be released on November 14th.

Jimmy Choo for H&M kommer ju som sagt att innehålla accessoarer också och de här fastnade jag för. Den svarta väskan såg fin ut i modellen, men den kanske är lite för liten. Det återstår att se. Den grå ser bättre ut i storlek och kommer egentligen från herrkollektionen, men det spelar ju ingen roll. Jag kommer i alla fall fundera på att köpa den. Bältet kan man vira flera varv och det skulle nog vara snyggt över en fodralklänning eller en lite längre lös top. Fastnar du för någon av accessoarerna? Fler bilder finns här. / I really like these Jimmy Choo for H&M accessories. The black bag looks nice, but it may be just a bit too small. We´ll just have to wait and see. The grey bag looks better in size and is actually from the mens line. I´m considering getting it. De här skorna är de jag funderar på att köpa när Jimmy Choo for H&M släpps den 14 november. Jag är egentligen mest sugen på de platta (!) sandalerna och ballerinorna, men klackarna är också rätt fina. Vi får se hur det blir. Jag kommer i alla fall att sitta klistrad vid dataskrämen eftersom kollektionen inte kommer hit, och jag har faktura på H&M så behöver jag inte betala direkt utan kan prova hemma och skicka tillbaka de jag inte vill ha. My biggest interest right now are the flat (!) sandals and the ballerinas, but the heels are really nice too. Since the collection not will be released in my town I will do my shopping at their website, and we´ll just have to wait and see what style I end up with. Kollektionen Jimmy Choo for H&M kommer ju inte bara att innehålla skor utan även accessoarer och kläder. Det blir första gången Jimmy Choo gör kläder och av det jag sett så ser det bra ut. Jag kommer speciellt att spana efter de korta klänningarna. Byxdressen ser också fin ut, men jag tror inte jag kan bära upp den tyvärr. Gillar ni något plagg i kollektionen? / The Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will not just be shoes, it will include accessories and clothes as well. This will be the first time for Jimmy Choo to introduce clothes and from what I´ve seen so far it looks pretty good. I will keep my eyes open for the short dresses but I like the jumpsuit too. I don´t think I can pull it off though. Do you have any favourites from the collection?

Om ca två månader, den 14 november, är det dags för H&M att släppa sin nästa designerkollektion, den här gången i samarbete med Jimmy Choo. Bilder från kollektionen har börjat cirkulera på nätet och fashionistas i olika länder har redan fått smakprover på skorna. Jag ser verkligen fram emot den här kollektionen men eftersom den bara kommer att släppas i ca 200 butiker i hela världen är chansen inte särskilt stor att den kommer hit. Jag får hoppas på webshopen helt enkelt. Mina favoriter är de snygga heelsen som Elin Kling har, men de andra ser inte dumma ut de heller. Vad tycker du om skorna hittills? / In about two months, on November 14th, H&M will release their next collaboration and this time it´s with Jimmy Choo. Images are already on the web and fashionistas in different countries are being seen wearing previews from the collection. I´m really looking forward to this collaboration but since it will only be released in about 200 stores worlwide, the chances are slim that any item will hit the shelves in my town. So I set my hope to the online store. My favourites are the cage heels that has been seen on Elin Kling, but I like the look of the others too. What do you think of the shoes shown so far?
